My first snorkelling trip

We (Sawinder, Abhinav, Geetika and I) went to Miami on Dec.18, 2005. During this trip, we planned one day for snorkeling in Key Largo, Florida. Key Largo is the dive capital of the world. We went to John Pennekamp Coral Reef state park. It is the America's first undersea park. We took a sailing and snorkeling tour which started at 1:30 PM.

The sailboat takes around 40 mins or so to take you near to the coral park. We put our wet suits and (life jackets) PFD. When the first time, I jumped in the water with my snorkel. I felt pretty uncomfortable. The mistake, I was doing was that I was trying to swim. During snorkeling, the best technique is just to float or do underwater swimming. Firsttime, when I looked inside I didnot see much bec. I was far from the corels. When I swim further. I saw the paradise. It was so beautiful. Everything was so beautiful, fishes of different colors and corels. I felt ultimate peace while looking at the corels reefs. We did snorkeling for nearly an hour then it was time to go back.

Snorkeling is not only fun activity but I felt as a spirital activity too. I felt so much peace after doing this activity. Looking at the world under sea gives you a different sense of life.
